Good if you're craving classic Chinese takeout. Ordered Wonton Soup, General Tso's Chicken, and Fried Chicken Wings via DoorDash. The soup was nothing to write home about, but the wings were crispy and the General Tso's chicken actually had some good spice to it, which some places don't do enough of. Would order from here again.

The best Chinese restaurant on 31st Avenue. If you are disappointed with the Chinese food scene in Astoria, travel a few miles up 31st Avenue until you reach the Jackson Heights shopping center. We were repeatedly told how good the food was, and they were right. We ordered dumplings and honey-dipped chicken wings. With hot tea, the food was delicious. All in all, this is a solid recommendation.

Listen up, East Elmhurst! If you've got a hankering for Chinese, you need to make a pit stop at JJ Garden. I got myself into some Beef Szechuan, hot & sour soup, and hot tea, and it's like I hit a culinary jackpot. The hot & sour soup is basically liquid gold. It's your grandma's chicken soup on steroids, folks. You catch a cold, or even just a bad mood, you down some of this, and boom--you're back in business. They've got a $10 lunch menu at the moment, people. In NYC, where you pay $5 just for breathing air, this is like winning the affordable dining lottery. And the portions? Big enough to share or take home, but let's be honest, you won't want to. The place is always hopping with locals, so you know it's the real deal. It's quick, it's efficient, and you get out of there feeling like you robbed the place, it's so affordable.

My father came here to order lunch for the workers working on the home's electrical system. I remembered this place whenever I pass through the community mall. The place is an Americanized Chinese restaurant. My father saw that this place was busy as the other restaurants were closed. Overall I will recommend this place to others.

Love Jj's. In particular their JJ's shrimp. I've never found a honey walnut shrimp as good as theirs and it's a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED dish. I've dined in and ordered out and always had pleasant experiences. Food always fresh and delicious. The General Tso's dish is a staple on every single Chinese restaurants menu but what makes theirs stand out is the choice between white and dark meat. I took a pic of my shrimp but way late as I remembered in the middle of devouring it. Do yourself a favor, get the shrimp. 18.95 but most delicious and enough to split into 2 maybe even 3 separate meals.
